A financial technology professional with over 30 years of experience in payment processing and financial services, Jerome Arthur Uffner serves as Senior Vice President of Card Issuing at Usio Inc. Under the leadership of Jerome Arthur Uffner, the PCI and SOC 2, Nacha-certified fintech company remains dedicated to simplifying and modernizing payment processing for businesses.
Mr. Uffner has held several executive roles in the financial services industry, such as president of Tern Commerce Inc. from 2021 to 2023. Previously, he served as Senior Vice president and Head of prepaid at FIS, overseeing a $100 million payment division. He also served as president and Chief Executive officer of FirstView Financial, overseeing operational and revenue growth during his time with the company.
Outside of his corporate work, Mr. Uffner participates in charitable and community activities. He is a board member at Backpack Blessings and has presented at industry events, including the Prepaid Expo in Las Vegas. In his personal time, he coached youth sports and stays active through running and exercise. Mr. Uffner earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also served as Greek Week Chairman in 1983 and held several leadership roles within the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity.
